Hello, my name is Lee, and I want to help you know who I am as a therapist as you make the important decision to begin or resume therapy.

 First and foremost, congratulations on looking beyond traditional social and cultural support for whatever you want to work on. It can be an extremely difficult decision and bring great anxiety.  Take a deep breath, I think you will be surprised how much fun and ease it can be.

Therapists are people just like you and no one therapist is educated and experienced in every possible need a human face in this life, so as you meet me, let’s discuss if I am the one that helps you feel comfortable and capable of facing your challenges in a way that reduces fear and promotes hopefulness and excitement.

I have over 10 years’ experience as a therapist working with adults across many diagnoses and am licensed in the State of Michigan to address those diagnosis with evidence-based practice. I Have a master’s degree in mental health counseling and a bachelor’s degree in behavioral psychology to fully understand what challenges each face.  

Additionally, as a 61-year-old mother and grandmother, I have A LOT of life experience to add to the book knowledge I earned. I will work hard to help you develop realistic, small steps to face your challenges and evaluate with me (as a team) how well those steps are working for you.

My sessions are 100% online Via Zoom currently. I am punctual and reliable with my sessions and need you to be as well. Only if we meet consistently to evaluate your needs and the outcomes of what we are working on, can you feel successful and know for sure what you are doing works.

Let me be there to guide you on this journey, it can be fun, it can be surprising what you have already accomplished and never learned to recognize yourself! I want to help you with this!
