I am Lorena, a Psychologist - Master’s Level, in Dearborn. I became a clinical psychologist in 1998 upon graduating from the University of Guadalajara, and later obtained US licensure from the Michigan School of Psychology. I am an LGBTQIA identifying therapist that speaks Spanish and English. I've utilized Talk Therapy and mindfulness with a CBT approach, in my experience with trauma, relationship problems, addiction, anxiety, depression and chronic illness. I have recently gained interest in assessing for neurodivergence in the adult population, and the effects of pet ownership on mental health.

Hola soy Lorena, Psicóloga a Nivel Maestría, y trabajo en la ciudad de Dearborn. Me gradue de Psicóloga General en 1998 de la Universidad de Guadalajara y despúes obtuve mi Maestría en Psicología Clínica aquí en Estados Unidos en la Michigan School of Psychology. Soy una terapueta que se identifica con la comunidad LGBTQIA y hablo Español e Inglés. Para asistir con Traumas, problemas de pareja, adicción, ansiedad, depresión y enfermedades crónicas,  utilizo Terapia Conversacional, Mindfullness, y DBT (Terapia Dialéctico-Conductual). En los últimos años he obtenido un interés especial en asesorarar nuerodivergencia en la población adulta, y los efectos en la salud mental y su relación con la tenencia de mascotas.
