Greetings! My name is Michele. I have always been a helper in some capacity for the better part of my life. I am driven to help others in their life's journey. I have worked in the service industry for over 25 years. I have dealt with my own addiction issues stemming from my own childhood traumas and adolescence. I acquired my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in my 40s, after raising a son as a single parent. I believe having empirical life experiences prior to fulfilling my educational goals has provided me with exceptional awareness and grounding. I engage in client-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, existential therapy, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing. I want to meet you where you are and walk beside you with unconditional support. I primarily work with co-occurring issues, substance use disorders/behavioral health, and clinical mental health. I have proficiency with those dealing with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, substance use disorders/addiction, family dysfunction/orientation, life coaching/career-changing, Mindfulness, and trauma. I have a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in the state of Michigan. I am an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), I have my NCC (National Certified Counselor), I have acquired my CCTP (Certified Clinical Trauma Professional), and recently received certification for CCATP (Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional.)I have also recently completed my CAADC (Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor.) I hope to assist you in living your best life.
