Nick Weiss, LMSW, CAADC

Welcome and thank you for showing interest in working with me. As a devoted therapist, I am here to support your needs and goals. I have extensive experience working with individuals with various settings and experiences. My background includes working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, effective communication and substance abuse. Whether some of these issues sound familiar or you just need support from daily stressors, I am confident in my ability to help you through those obstacles. 

A little bit about me, I graduated with my Bachelors in social work from the University of Michigan in 2008 with a minor in health education and behavior. I then went on to earn my Masters in social work in 2009. Upon graduation, I began working with individuals who struggled with severe and persistent mental illness. This path led me to work with children, adults, families and couples. 

Most recently, I have been working primarily with individuals struggling with substance use concerns. Substance use, like other illnesses, is a disease that requires special attention and understanding. I have earned my Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) certification and have been working with substance use throughout my career.
