Welcome! I am a dedicated mental health professional with over a decade of experience in behavioral health. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) in 2020 and my Master of Social Work (MSW) in 2021, specializing in Interpersonal Practice at Wayne State University. I am credentialed as both a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP), Substance Abuse Treatment Specialist (SATS) and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor-Development Plan.

My clinical background includes more than 11 years in community mental health and over 6 years in inpatient behavioral health and crisis settings. I have extensive experience working with diverse populations, providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals facing complex mental health challenges. I am committed to promoting recovery, resilience, and empowerment through trauma-informed, person-centered approaches.

As a Mental Health Therapist, I provide individual therapy to adults and adolescents navigating life transitions, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and severe mental illness. My roles as a QMHP, QIDP, SATS and CAADC-DP have given me specialized expertise in supporting individuals with co-occurring intellectual developmental disabilities and substance use disorders.

In my practice, I take a collaborative, strengths-based approach, integrating modalities such as Certificate for In-Person Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for Co-Occurring Disorders (COD), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and psychotherapy. I work to create a safe, culturally responsive environment where clients can build insight, develop coping skills, and strengthen resilience.

Whether you are beginning therapy for the first time or continuing your personal growth, I will meet you with empathy, professionalism, and respect—helping you achieve your goals and foster lasting well-being.
