I have been in the mental health field since 1989. My passion lies in assisting individuals in using holistic methods to recover from past trauma, such as inner parts work, mindfulness techniques, environmental controls, and emotional regulation. With over three decades of experience in the mental health field, I have worked with diverse groups of people, including those within the criminal justice system for 10 years at a high-security prison. However, I have retired from that position in 2022 and am now focused on utilizing holistic approaches to heal trauma. I especially enjoy incorporating Spirituality in therapeutic work.

I have techniques that are effective for depression, anxiety, anger issues and PTSD. I have training and experience with inner parts work, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic therapy, and reality therapy/choice theory. I focus a lot on reflective feedback and delving deep into emotions and defense mechanisms.

I have a unique method of working with clients whose work makes it hard to schedule the same day and time each week.

I do not write letters for clients to be off work more than two weeks. I do not complete FMLA paperwork. In these cases, repeatedly, clients have lost insurance and do not pay for sessions and now, I can't afford to take clients in these situations on any longer. If a client wishes to self pay, they are required to pay for every session before they can schedule the next session.
