I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who graduated from Chicago State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have 10+ years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in different therapeutic settings from various cultural and economic backgrounds. I provide individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. I view the therapeutic process as an alliance between client and therapist and I believe a good therapeutic rapport is important in affecting change. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psycho-Educational Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, and Reality Therapy. I am also a certified life coach and I find great joy in working collaboratively with my clients and their families on exploring issues and concerns as well as identifying and implementing solutions that bring about favorable outcomes and encourage forward movement for all involved. I am particularly passionate about supporting young people who are navigating anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, adjustment difficulties, attachment needs, grief and loss, and histories of trauma. I continue to be passionate and eager to provide therapeutic services to those who desire a change within themselves and their lives.
