Yelena Gouseinov, MSW, LMSW

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan in 1998 and am a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Michigan. For over 25 years, I’ve had the privilege of working in mental health agencies, correctional facilities, and counseling centers—supporting adults and families through life’s many challenges.

Throughout my career, I’ve supported people dealing with stress, substance use, sexual addiction, trauma, domestic violence, grief and loss, depression, and anxiety.

My approach to therapy is warm, supportive, and collaborative. I use a blend of humanistic, evidence-based practices, including solution-focused and cognitive behavioral therapies, to help clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and make meaningful, lasting changes.

My goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered on your path to greater health, peace of mind and happiness.
