I am passionate about helping people achieve their fullest potential, and for them to live healthy, happy, and safe lives. I want to help people overcome and or manage their problems that are brought on by mental illness. In regards to therapy, I want to meet the client where they are currently at. I want clients to feel comfortable in a non-judgmental environment. Treatment and intervention strategies will be determined by the client’s needs. I obtained my Master’s in Social Work from Wayne State University in 2020. The actual ceremony had to be pushed back due to COVID-19. I have used treatment interventions such as Motivational Interviewing, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and a Strengths-Based approach when working with clients. I have experience in working with people who are dealing with anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, self-esteem and relationship issues, grief and loss, as well as those dealing with IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities). I am also a QIDP (Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional).
