In life, it can be easy to lose yourself or feel "stuck" by past or present traumas and events, but it's possible to find yourself again or even find yourself for the first time. I'm Ana, I'm a Limited License Social Worker with a Master's from Michigan State University, and as your therapist, I believe that you are the expert on you! I strive to create a safe, judgment-free space for my clients and work with you to achieve your goals big and small. Together, you and I will take a strengths-based approach to meet you where you are, not where you think you "should" be.

I have training and/or experience in CBT, school social work, crisis/suicidality intervention, the LGBTQIA+ community, sexual violence survivors, the juvenile justice system, trauma-informed care, and other evidence-based approaches. I have worked successfully with clients dealing with anxiety disorders, depression, suicidal ideation, and PTSD, among many other issues. I have years of experience and love doing with work teens and adults from all walks of life including members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I also have limited availability to work with couples seeking therapy.

My personal style as a therapist tends to be compassionate yet direct and I also try to find humor in everyday life. Some of my most prided values are social justice, equity, and self-determination, and I make a strong effort to live these values in my therapy work. I look forward to starting the next step of your journey with you!
