Experienced, compassionate, strengths-focused

Are you ready to see some change in your life? Nobody wakes up in the morning deciding to have a bad day, or knowing the difficulties that might come along and just how to manage them. I believe that we are all trying to do the best we can with the information and resources we have available to us. I also think that two heads are better than one, and I see it as a privilege to walk alongside you in your journey to living your best life.

My goals are to help you think a little bit differently, use new skills, and maximize your strengths to create the change you’re hoping for in your life.

One of my passions is to be a cheerleader for my clients (although I never was an *actual* cheerleader...I’d prefer yoga pants to the outfits that they wear, I think). Small successes lead to long-term growth, and that is EXCITING! Have a setback? I call those learning opportunities - let’s make the most of those, and chart a course that leaves you further ahead.

I have 2 Master’s degrees (one in counseling, the other in social work) and 15 years of experience as a counselor/therapist, and I am prepared to put every bit of those years to work for you, along with your strengths and abilities. I take a flexible approach, using education where helpful, and developing insights/awareness when possible. YOU are the expert of YOUR life, and there is nothing I enjoy more than getting to know exactly where you are at, and where you’d like to go. I love working with couples, adults, teens, and emerging young adults, with multiple issues such as relationship difficulties, communication hardships, depression, anxiety, self-confidence needs, anger management, etc.
