After earning my Master's of Social Work from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor, I worked with various specific population groups including, Viet Nam Veterans, Hospice Patients, Bereavement Support, Hospital Inpatient Psychiatric Unit, Community Mental Health Older Adult Program, and Child and Family Services before settling into my Outpatient Practice 18 years ago. I found these experiences, in addition to my education and professional training, to be extremely valuable in understanding and addressing the vast array of challenges faced by all of us.

I am passionate about working with each individual and their very unique life issues. I want to meet you where you are and assist you in getting to where you want to be. Together we will explore those obstacles that are holding you back. I want to help you to understand how your thinking influences the behaviors that have become problematic for you. My goal is to teach you coping skills that you can use to successfully face life's challenges.

Whether your issue is depression, mood swings, grief and loss, anxiety, stress, poor self-esteem, chronic pain, aging lifestyle changes, trauma, troubled relationships, or any of the numerous emotional states that are negatively impacting your life, lets work together to make positive changes to ease your journey through this thing we call life. Become a healthier, happier you.
