I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I specialize in working with children ages 3-17, but also work with adults. I am certified in play therapy. I use play therapy as an effective tool to assist children in expressing their feelings and working through problems.
I am also trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which is an evidence-based treatment approach for children and adolescents who have experienced trauma such as sexual abuse, physical abuse and domestic violence. In addition to trauma, I have experience in working with children and adults with depression, anxiety, marital counseling, grief/loss, and family transitions/changes such as divorce.
