“You never change your life until you step out of your comfort zone; change begins at the end of your comfort zone. –Roy T. Bennett

Growth is one of the hardest steps a person can make. Being a therapist since 2016, and in the field of social work since 2013 Jackie understands the strength it takes to take those first steps to become your best self. Graduating with her master's in social work from Wayne State University Jackie has experience working with all age groups. Staring her career in case management working with children and their families, from there Jackie gained experience at an adolescent homeless shelter, a neuropsychology office, in the hospital as an OB/NICU social worker, and most recently as a crisis therapist working with children, adolescents, and adults. Prior to becoming a therapist, Jackie worked for a private ambulance company as a licensed Emergency Technician. She understands that life circumstances can come at you fast and deeply impact your emotions and ability to function. Jackie has extensive experience working with people who suffer from anxiety, depression, grief/loss, parenting struggles, pregnancy/postpartum/women's health struggles, self-esteem and self-worth concerns, body issues, gender and sexuality struggles, anger, and marriage/family conflict. Jackie is committed to inclusivity, mutual collaboration, encouragement, acceptance, and always a safe place for someone to feel comfortable and grow. Above everything, Jackie believes that everyone matters and appreciating one's value is a major step in their mental health journey.
