I specialize in working with teens/young adults, and I also enjoy working with adults in challenges relating to their teen children or general stressors of life. I can help with a variety of issues including low self-esteem, ADHD, anxiety, depression, self-injury, school issues, behavior concerns, parenting issues, and stress management.

I have ten years of experience supporting the mental health of adolescents and parents as a school counselor. In addition to this, I am an experienced clinician in outpatient therapy and have also had the privilege of teaching in the high school classroom full-time for three years as a licensed educator. I have a toolbox of specific strategies to share for improving school performance and I can guide families in receiving needed help from the school system.

I have a very genuine, approachable style that helps me to build strong, trusting relationships with my clients. I believe that clients can make positive changes to the way they feel by identifying and replacing negative thoughts and behaviors. I also use solution-focused interventions, which allow us to develop solutions based on personal strengths and what has worked in the past.

When you or your child is having difficulties with school or at home, it can be overwhelming and cause so much strife within your family life. I am here to listen, understand, and help alleviate this through the use of strategies and treatment. I look forward to partnering with you to help you achieve the results you are hoping for!
