You can enter psychotherapy for a variety of reasons. My goal as a therapist is to help my clients begin to address their presenting issues by creating a feeling of safety, mutual respect, and providing them with unconditional support. Together, we can work to uncover underlying sources of pain, connect the impact that thoughts and feelings have on our behaviors, strengthen self-awareness and acceptance, explore and incorporate effective coping skills into daily living, and relieve distress to ultimately improve functioning and quality of life. These are attributes I value and offer to clients in our work together. Through our work together, I will do my best to help guide you, support you, and validate you. I look forward to meeting you!
Self-care is key to a well-balanced life, professionally and personally. When I'm not wearing my therapist hat, you can find me trying new recipes in the kitchen, spinning/biking, and unapologetically singing in my car! Additionally, I enjoy attending professional conferences and reading literature to continue to grow professionally.
