Seeking counseling does not imply that something is wrong with you but that you are just trying to improve upon the strengths that you already possess.  From the moment you walk in, I want you to feel that you are in a safe place.

My best clients have said that I am warm, friendly, and not at all what they expected a therapist to be.  As your therapist I will take the time to get to know you, meet you where you are on your journey, and walk alongside you.  Together we will figure out how you can become the best you.

I specialize in trauma, but I also have experience helping individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and relationship issues.  Through my experience, I have found one of my passions is working with individuals who have lost their way and are ready to get back on track.  I also have found that I can relate well with teens who are trying to figure out where they fit in this world.  Whatever your season of life, my goal is to make you feel valued, safe, and heard while cultivating a relationship of trust, inclusiveness, and mutual understanding that is free of judgment.

I believe each person's life and circumstance is unique and should be treated as such.  With that in mind, I will focus on you, not make you fit into someone else’s mold. We all have the ability to change and as your therapist, I will help you see that ability more clearly.  It would be an honor to guide you as you learn how to lead a happier and more fulfilling life.
