With 20 years of experience working in the mental health field, I have helped numerous individuals, couples, and families struggling to cope with a range of issues, such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders, complex trauma, life transitions, women’s issues, spirituality, and those elderly or chronically ill individuals struggle with.

My client-centered approach is individually tailored using various treatment modalities that include Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and a strengths-based approach that often integrates Western and Eastern philosophies.

I received my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology.  I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a limited License-Master’s Psychologist (LLP) in Michigan, as well as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida.  I have taught both undergraduate and graduate students counseling and psychology students during the past 10 years and presented my research about mental-health-related mobile phone apps at both the state and national conferences.

I look forward to combining my training and experience to help you on your journey of discovery, grow, and healing.
