Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to consider me as your therapist. My name is Katlyn Cizek and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I graduated with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology in 2018 and since then I have been providing counseling services in various settings to a diverse population with a range of presenting concerns.

I understand the importance of creating a safe space free of stigma and judgment in order to build a rapport before any deep therapeutic work takes place. I use a person-centered approach, which allows you to share personal experiences and process emotions at your own pace while I provide therapeutic support.

I have experience working in numerous environments including group homes, day treatment programs, on-site crisis intervention response, and I currently also work in an Emergency Room providing level of care assessments for those in need of mental health treatment. I specialize in Mood Disorders, Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Trauma, Stress, and Suicidal Ideation.

I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities including, CBT, DBT, ACT, Strength Based, Person- Centered, and Trauma Focused Counseling. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your journey to improve your mental health!
