Kelsi Podgorski is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health. She is passionate about supporting families with young children as well as those who are planning for children.

Kelsi received her undergraduate degree in Psychology & Women's Studies from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and her master's degree in Interpersonal Practice with Children, Youth, and Families from The University of Michigan School of Social Work.

Kelsi has been partnering with families in Northwest Detroit and Southeastern Michigan as they work through issues and concerns related to the parent/child relationship, early childhood trauma, worries or fears surrounding pregnancy and parenthood, and foster care. Kelsi brings her specialized focus and knowledge on the social, emotional, and relational health of young children (ages 0-6) and their caregivers to help families restore balance and function at their best.

Kelsi is passionate and experienced in balancing the needs of parents and their children. It is Kelsi's understanding that a parent's own early childhood shapes their experiences and expectations in adulthood. She uses this knowledge to offer unique support and counseling to parents as they navigate parenthood, explore their own childhoods and repair relationships with their children. Kelsi engages in family-centered approaches that include play therapy, Infant-Parent Psychotherapy, reflective practices, and TF-CBT. Kelsi's vision for therapy is to collaborate with parents and children in ways that allow everyone to be heard and understood.
