Hello! My name is Kimberly and I am eager to start working with you on your own personalized therapeutic journey! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Bachelors degree from Michigan State University in Psychology and a Master’s degree from Central Michigan University (Fire up!). I have been professionally working in Mental Health since graduating in 2014 but I also have and value my experiences personally with mental illness and developmental disabilities throughout my life that helped guide my education and career to where I am today. My passion is working with the client to identify the right tools and strategies for them to utilize and ultimately manage some of their more severe symptoms that may be directly connected to their mental health. I implement in my practice a variety of approaches because therapy is not to be considered a “one size fits all” process. Some of the therapeutic models I have experience with include Person-Centered approaches, Trauma-Focused therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral focused, and Solution-Focused therapy. Work with me to develop a stronger understanding and awareness of how your current stressors may be influenced directly by your mental health.
