I am Melissa Brabandt, a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience working with clients living with anxiety and depression, as well as people having difficulty with life transitions and change. I firmly believe that people can live a healthy, happy, and productive life while learning to manage and overcome anxiety and low mood.

My goal is to provide a safe place for you to share your concerns and to help create action steps that reflect your needs and abilities. Drawing from different therapeutic approaches, I provide a personalized space for clients to create and practice coping techniques. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness provide the foundation of my style as a therapist as I have found that recognizing how our thoughts are related to our emotions and behaviors is incredibly empowering for clients.
Together, we can figure out what works for you, recognizing that you have many strengths and coping skills that you are already using. Working collaboratively, we can build on these skills and make them more effective.
