I believe in the transformative power that exists within each of us. I believe in our ability to find meaning, growth, and change in times of success and adversity. With a solid foundation in positive psychology and the creative arts, I see individual therapy as a partnership. While my approach is focused on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and other modalities, it's shaped by my experience as a creative writing coach and my studies in mindfulness. I also have training in military culture and the experience of being a US Army veteran, which helps me to connect with those who serve. After graduating with a Master of Social Work from Wayne State University (Detroit), I completed the Addictions Certificate program at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor). It’s an honor for me to work with people from all walks of life. My highest commitment is to collaborate with individuals who are ready to realize and build on their own resilience and strengths.
