Dr. Rene Nota is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.  This experience has strengthened her understanding and response to depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, and relationship struggles.  In addition, she helps individuals problem-solve and manage chronic pain, sleep disorders, and aging/memory concerns.  She works with couples to strengthen communication skills and give new understanding and perspective to marital stressors.  She helps families recognize and discontinue long-term patterns of parent-child conflict, grief/loss, abandonment, and emotional stressors.  Dr. Nota has additional certification as a School Psychologist and State of Michigan endorsement as a Special Education Director.  She has extensive experience administering and interpreting cognitive, achievement, and social-emotional testing/evaluation for individuals with special needs or work-related struggles.
