Hello! I’m Steve, a licensed professional counselor working in Michigan. I am so happy you have found your way to this website. You are taking an important step toward improving your mental health.

For the past 25 years, I have worked as a counselor in educational settings. My focus has been on working with adolescents, but I also have experience working with adults. My approach to therapy is based on empathy and acceptance, while also challenging clients to improve their coping skills and work toward their goals.

We all have times when we feel trapped in negative patterns or stuck in relationships that aren’t working, but I believe therapy can be transformative for anyone willing to commit the time and effort. My focus is to help you to break free from those patterns and become more competent and confident with your emotional needs. I will provide a warm and safe environment in which I can learn all about you and help you get closer to your best self. I look forward to meeting you!
