Susanna Start is a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides therapy for adults ages 18-and older. It is Susanna’s personal mission to offer an empathic, compassionate, non-judgmental approach to work through life’s transitions. While providing coping skills and strategies to improve the overall quality of life. Susanna can help you navigate and explore and develop personal goals. Her goal is to help you identify your unique talents and gifts to guide you through life’s struggles. Utilizing a strength-based and solution-based approach in a collaborative manner, utilizing mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques.

Susanna received her Master’s Degree from Eastern Michigan University. Susanna possesses over 20 years of community-based mental health professional experience. In addition to providing individual therapy, Susanna has worked as a clinical supervisor and manager of an outpatient facility. Her experience covers a wide range of ages from college students to retirees.
