Hello and welcome. I'm excited you have found my page. I have a passion for working with women and children to assist them in removing any barriers they are experiencing in life.
I practice therapy virtually in a beautiful and comfortable home office utilizing Telehealth which is health care from the safety of our homes. I'm a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Certified Addictions Professional, Nationally Certified TF-CBT Therapist, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and National Certified Counselor. I've been a therapist for four years and I am passionate about that work that I do. My experience includes treating symptoms related to anxiety, depression, adjustment to life transitions, trauma, family dynamics, and vocational concerns.
I provide therapeutic services for children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with issues concerning mental health and substance use disorders, and I also help those coping with the effects of physical and psychological disabilities that impair educational and vocational aspirations. I do this by teaching healthy coping skills to manage everyday life challenges.
As a professional, I will utilize the theoretical approach that is best suited to meet the individual need of each patient. I utilize a variety evidence-based of techniques, including Person-Centered Therapy, Child-Centered Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reality Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). By using these techniques the patient will be empowered, achieve work/life balance, and obtain personal and therapeutic goals.
